Welcome to Wrighteous Brits

We are a small British Shorthair cattery located in Barrie Ontario, about 1 hour north of Toronto. We are registered with, and members of, both The Canadian Cat Association and The International Cat Association.

Our final litters of 2023 have arrived. Hazel and Bruno welcomed 3 babies on July 4th and Pearl and Bruno’s babies joined us only July 9th. All kittens are reserved for families on my waiting list. I have 3 litters planned again for 2024. If you would like to be added to the list for next year’s litters, please send me an email.  All pet kittens will be spay/neutered before leaving my home.

I pride myself on keeping things on a small scale and breeding for the sheer pleasure of it as well as for the love and preservation of this wonderful breed. My focus is on health, temperment and breed standard. My motto is Quality not Quantity.

I operate a cage free cattery so all of my cats and kittens are housed as pets and loved as such. Kittens are raised as part of the family and socialized with people and the family dog which helps the adjustment to their new homes easier.

I keep a maximum of three breeding females and only one male at a time, producing just 3 litters a year. This gives me more time to focus on my cats and kittens individually and to consistently provide them with an abundance of love and attention.
